After massive success, rapper 50 Cent formed his own shoes and apparel company. G-Unit Clothing was created in 2003 with the help of Ecko Unlimited and Reebok. 50 Cent formed an alliance with them so that Ecko would produce t-shirts, jeans, and several other clothing accessories. Meanwhile, Reebok would dedicate their efforts to manufacture the G-Unit Shoes.
After a while, 50 cent decided to manage his clothing line and shoes by himself. G-Unit shoes are no longer in production, at least in the United States. A press release in 2010 indicated that 50 Cent relaunched the brand in Brazil, because of the large number of fans. 50 has full ownership of his brand, so he could re-launch the G-Unit shoes at any moment. At the time being, there are only a few places where you can find any G-Unit items.
The first option is to check out eBay. It seems that a number of people wore them a few times, or never even opened the box in some cases. You can find brand new G-Unit shoes there that range from 20 to 60 dollars.
G-Unit apparel can be found online in other sites. If you’re after jackets, t-shirts or jeans you can find all this stuff over at yukka.co.uk. Head over to the brand directory, look for G-Unit, and you should be able to see a number of items. Hopefully you’ll find something your size. If you don’t live in the UK they’re able to ship to other countries as well.
One last option is to look for them at a couple of retail stores. We recommend going to a Ross or Marshall, because they will often have merchandise that isn’t being produced anymore. It’s a long shot, but if you really want a pair of G-Unit shoes, maybe you’ll find something that fits you, and way cheaper than what it used to cost.
These items are harder to come by these days. There’s no indication that new G-Unit shoes will come out any time soon, so you can either try what’s mentioned above, or get models from Nike or any other brand that resemble them in some way.
